Volunteer Opportunities
Workshop Presenter
Fresh Start's Education Services program relies on the time, talent, and expertise of volunteer presenters to facilitate workshops on a variety of topics. In addition to some public speaking experience, workshop presenters must possess education and/or professional experience in the topic they wish to teach, and a committed interest in helping other women succeed.

Administrative Support
Fresh Start's Education Services seeks administrative support volunteers to assist with database creation, data entry, and communications support. Many tasks can be completed from home. Volunteers must possess strong computer skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Volunteers should demonstrate an ability to take direction easily and work independently.
Promotion and Publicity Support
Fresh Start's Education Services program actively seeks volunteers with an interest in helping to promote Fresh Start workshops and featured events to the community.
If interested in designing flyers to be used for email blasts and display, experience with basic design concepts or programs such as MS Publisher or Adobe Photoshop is preferred. Access to these programs from home is beneficial.
If interested in assisting with publicity, public relations, or media outreach, knowledge of standard press release format and composition is required.
