Auxiliary Board

Stacy Lloyd, Auxilliary Board Chair
Owner, Lloyd Media Group

Stacy Lloyd is a seasoned video producer and writer with an extensive background in broadcast production. She was a television reporter and producer for more than 15 years covering stories across the world, including the latest war in Iraq. Currently, she produces corporate and non-profit videos and writes scripts, PR/marketing collateral and all types of articles. With nearly two decades in the industry, Stacy has conducted thousands of interviews in the field and studio. She has produced thousands of news stories, television programs and corporate, non-profit and educational videos.

Stacy’s experience goes beyond broadcasting. She was also Vice President of Media Relations at The Hawthorn Group in Alexandria, Virginia. While at Hawthorn, Stacy was immersed in a new national corporate giving and community involvement program for a Fortune 500 company. She advised and implemented the strategic plan for communication efforts, provided media training, identified audiences, created media lists, and pitched broadcast and print angles to national and local media.

She joined the Fox News Channel’s Washington DC bureau shortly before the network’s ratings skyrocketed. As a producer she travelled extensively to cover national and breaking news. Her last assignment was covering the War in Iraq from Kuwait City and Baghdad. Some of the stories she covered include the September 11th attacks, the War on Terror, the Shuttle Columbia tragedy, the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping, Hurricane Lili, the Queen Mother’s funeral in London, the 2002 Winter Olympics, the Timothy McVeigh execution and the 2000 Presidential campaign, election and inauguration.

Before joining Fox, Stacy worked as a reporter and producer at television news stations across the country. A native Phoenician, Stacy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arizona. She also offers her time to Ryan House and the Phoenix Film Foundation.

Fresh Start Foundation

Our Founders Pat Petznick and Beverly Stewart

Even as young teens, Pat and Beverly wanted to help women, who like their grandmother, suddenly became the sole support of their families. Over the years, the Arizona natives became ardent community activists on behalf of women. In 1992, Pat Petznick and Beverly Stewart were in a position to personally and professionally reach out to women in need. The initial offering was a day of pampering at Rolf’s Salon, then co-owned by Pat, Beverly and Rolf Lohse. The women theorized that a new hair style and personalized make-up were immediate ways to boost one’s confidence and increase self-esteem. Each month 20 women from shelters and social service agencies were invited to “A Fresh Start Day of Beauty at Rolf’s.” This core Fresh Start service remains in place today through Rolf’s Salon as well as through the Self-Esteem Room at the Foundation’s Women’s Resource Center.
